Standard Plank Size
Most precast planks in India are exactly 7 feet long, 1 foot high, and 2 inches (50mm) thick. A 6-foot high wall requires 6 planks stacked per span.

Column Spacing
Because planks are 7ft long, grooved RCC columns must be planted exactly 7 feet apart (center-to-center).

Underground Column Depth
To support a 6-foot high wall, the columns are usually 8 or 9 feet long, with 2 to 3 feet buried and cemented into the ground for stability.
